Hi, I’m Ruth Lisgo – a vocalist, street performer, and lifelong music lover.
I’ve been singing since childhood, but everything changed when I was 12 and encouraged to sing solo at church. That moment sparked a lifelong passion. I grew up in the Mormon church, where music shaped me deeply. Though I’ve since taken a different path, I still find comfort in sacred spaces and songs.
These days, I busk across the UK, finding real connection through live, heartfelt performance. I believe in the power of music – and laughter – to lift spirits and bring people together.

I intentionally keep my schedule flexible to take on short-notice wedding ceremonies, funerals, and event emergencies, making me an ideal choice when plans change, a performer cancels, or live music is needed unexpectedly.

Sharing Serenity: Livestreamed Hymn Sessions from Historic Churches
I'll be visiting churches, singing hymns for 30-60 minutes, and livestreaming for my community to share the sense of togetherness they bring. Hymns have personally comforted me during struggles, and I hope to extend that peace through my livestreamed experiences in these churches.

Studio Recording
Ruth has been so lucky to be surrounded by so many musicians in her life. Just to name a few who she was lucky enough to work on the recordings below on. Daniel Kirk is a songwriter and pianist who Ruth has also had the pleasure of writing with. Joshua Robey is another excellent pianist that has helped Ruth with various recordings and song arrangements. Robert Johnson both performed on (Guitar) and also managed the whole Recording of Ruth’s first album.
